Book A Demo

Arrange a machine demonstration with your own laser-cut sheet metal parts and see how the finish compares before you commit. We support manufacturers and fabricators across South Africa from Wadeville, Germiston, with demo bookings for Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg.

Bring Your Own Parts For A Proper Test

The best way to judge a deburring machine is to run the parts you already produce. Bring your laser-cut sheet metal with the same burr levels, corners and material mix you deal with every week, and we will show you how the machine handles it in real conditions.

That gives you a clear view of edge quality, handling time and operator effort. You can compare mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium, and see what happens on thin gauge sheets as well as heavier plate. If your work includes sharp internal cut-outs, fine slots or parts that need a safer edge before assembly, we will test those too.

Many teams come in wanting to know one thing first: will it reduce hand finishing. In most cases, the answer depends on cut quality, part shape and production volume, so the demo is set up around your actual workflow not a general sample.

How To Book Your Demo

Booking is simple and our support team will help you plan the visit. You can use the enquiry form on our contact page and tell us what type of parts you want to test, how many pieces you can bring, and which site in South Africa you work from.

  • Send your part type, thickness and material details through the enquiry form.
  • Tell us whether you want Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town or Rustenburg support.
  • Share the output problem you want to solve, such as burrs, sharp edges or uneven finishing.
  • We will confirm the demo setup and advise what to bring along.

If you are based on the East Rand or close to Wadeville, Germiston, we can usually arrange a quicker turnaround. For teams coming from further afield, we help make the visit practical so you are not moving parts around twice.

What We Check During The Demonstration

During the demo we look at more than just the final edge. We check how the machine behaves with your part sizes, the feed consistency and how much manual handling is still needed after the pass. We also talk through abrasive wear, dust extraction needs and the effect of power interruptions if your factory is in an area with load-shedding pressure.

If you operate in coastal areas such as Durban or Cape Town, we can discuss corrosion considerations and how to store consumables properly in humidity. If your site runs long shifts in Gauteng, we can look at repeatability over a full production day and not only a short sample run.

Typical questions covered during the session include:

  • How clean the cut edge becomes after one pass or multiple passes.
  • Whether the machine suits thin sheet, heavier parts or mixed batches.
  • How often abrasive belts or brushes need replacing.
  • What training your operators will need before live production starts.

What To Bring So The Demo Is Useful

Please bring parts that reflect your normal work. A neat sample with no burrs already present will not tell us much, so choose pieces that show the real problem. If you have more than one product family, bring a few variants so we can see where the machine performs well and where a different setup may be needed.

  • Laser-cut parts with visible burrs or sharp edges.
  • Samples in your common material thicknesses.
  • Any drawing notes that define finish quality or safety requirements.
  • Information on batch sizes and daily output targets.

If your production includes welded assemblies later on, we can also discuss how edge finishing before welding may improve fit-up and reduce rework. That is often where the savings start to show, especially when your team is trying to keep assembly moving without extra hand work.

Support From Wadeville To Your Production Floor

We are based in Wadeville, Germiston and support fabricators across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg. The team includes Pieter Johannes van der Merwe, Thandiwe Mokoena, Sibusiso Dlamini, Ayesha Patel, Johan Kruger and Lerato Nkosi, so you get practical help from people who know the machines and the shop floor realities.

We also assist with machine installation, operator training, preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, abrasive replacement, machine audits, sample part testing, process optimisation, spares supply, relocation support, production planning help and annual service contracts. If the demo shows the machine is a fit, we can map out the next steps for your site and crew.

Our aim is to make the decision clear. You leave with a better picture of finish quality, throughput and daily running cost, not just a sales pitch.

After The Demo: Next Steps And Decision Support

Once we have run your parts, we can talk through the results and what they mean for your operation. If you are comparing more than one machine type, we will help you weigh finish quality against speed, consumable use and floor space. If you need phased rollout, we can discuss where to start first.

For many fabricators the useful question is not whether the machine works, but whether it fits the way the factory already runs. That means looking at aisle space, operator skills, maintenance intervals and how the machine sits in line with laser cutting and downstream assembly. A good demo should answer those practical questions clearly.

If you are ready to book, send your details through the enquiry form and tell us what you want tested. We will help set up a session that is relevant, efficient and tied to your own parts, so you can judge the finish for yourself.

Questions we get asked

Can I bring my own laser-cut parts for the demo?

Yes, that is the best way to test the machine. Bring the parts you actually produce so we can assess burrs, edge quality and handling time on real work.

Which areas do you support for demo bookings?

We support clients from Wadeville, Germiston and the wider Gauteng area, plus Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg.

What should I tell you before the demo?

Tell us the material type, thickness, part size, daily volume and the finish problem you want to solve. That helps us prepare a useful test and avoid wasted time.
