Clean edges, faster production

Deburring

Deburring supplies specialised deburring and edge-finishing machines for laser-cut sheet metal, with support from Wadeville, Germiston to sites across South Africa. We help fabricators get clean edges, steady throughput and better part quality without slowing the workshop down.

What we supply for laser-cut sheet metal

Our focus is narrow on purpose. We supply deburring and edge-finishing machines made for laser-cut sheet metal, where sharp edges, dross and surface marks must be removed quickly and consistently. These machines suit shops working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium parts that need a cleaner finish before welding, coating or assembly.

Whether you run a high-volume fabrication line in Johannesburg or a mixed jobbing shop in Cape Town, the aim is the same: safer handling, better part presentation and less hand finishing. That means fewer reworks, fewer delays and less dependence on manual grinding that can vary from operator to operator.

  • Deburring machines for cut sheet metal parts
  • Edge-finishing machines for cleaner handling and assembly
  • Support for parts that need consistent finish quality
  • Solutions suited to production shops and fabricators

Who we serve across South Africa

We work with manufacturers and fabricators who need repeatable results, not guesswork. Our clients are typically cutting parts on laser machines and want a better post-process step before parts move to welding, packing or dispatch. Many also need help balancing output, labour and machine uptime when orders pick up.

From Wadeville and the East Rand to Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg, we support businesses that must keep production moving through load-shedding, busy order books and tight delivery dates. In coastal areas, we also help clients factor in humidity and storage conditions so machine performance stays reliable.

  • Fabricators handling laser-cut components in regular batches
  • Manufacturers needing cleaner edges before downstream processes
  • Shops wanting less manual finishing and more consistency
  • Operations needing local support in major industrial centres

Purpose-Built Machines

Our deburring and edge-finishing machines are selected for laser-cut sheet metal, helping fabricators achieve clean, repeatable results on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium parts.

Production Efficiency

We help workshops reduce manual finishing time, improve throughput and keep downstream processes such as bending, welding and coating moving smoothly.

Practical Support

From machine selection and setup to operator training and after-sales backup, we provide hands-on support suited to South African manufacturing conditions.

Tailored Solutions

Every workshop has different sheet sizes, edge quality targets and production volumes, so we match the right solution to the application rather than forcing a standard package.

How we work from enquiry to installation

Clients reach us through the enquiry form on our contact page, then we follow up to understand the part type, volumes, material thickness and finish required. If sample parts are available, we can test them and check the edge condition so the recommendation fits the actual job, not just a brochure spec.

Once the right machine is selected, we assist with machine installation, operator training and production planning help. We also support relocation projects, annual service contracts and preventive maintenance, so the equipment keeps working as expected. If a machine goes down, our service team can step in with breakdown repairs and spares supply.

Support in Wadeville, Germiston and beyond

Our base is in Wadeville, Germiston, which puts us close to the East Rand industrial area and within reach of Gauteng manufacturers who need direct support. We also work with clients in Johannesburg and Pretoria, where production schedules often need fast turnaround and practical technical help.

Further afield, we support fabricators and workshops in Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg. That includes demos in selected areas, on-site assistance where needed and help with day-to-day machine use after the sale. For South African workshops, local response time can matter just as much as machine quality, especially when a line is standing because one process has slowed down.

Since 2009, built around practical results

Deburring was founded in 2009 and has grown by staying focused on one part of the metalworking process. That focus has helped us build real experience with laser-cut sheet metal and the problems that come with it, from sharp burrs to uneven edges and inconsistent finishing times.

Our team includes Pieter Johannes van der Merwe, Thandiwe Mokoena, Sibusiso Dlamini, Ayesha Patel, Johan Kruger and Lerato Nkosi. Each person plays a practical role in sales, applications, service, workshop work and customer support. Clients often come back because they know who to speak to, and because the advice they get is based on shop floor conditions not theory.

Over the years, many customers have returned for added capacity, maintenance support or process advice as their production grows. That repeat business matters to us, because it shows the machine selection, service and aftercare are doing what they should.

Questions we get asked

What type of parts are your machines suited to?

They are suited to laser-cut sheet metal parts that need deburring, edge finishing or cleaner handling before welding, coating or assembly.

Do you only support clients in Gauteng?

No. We are based in Wadeville, Germiston but support clients across South Africa, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Rustenburg.

Can you help with setup and ongoing support?
